Fikirtepe, one of Istanbul’s largest and most ambitious urban transformation districts, entered a new phase of development in 2022 under the leadership of Emlak Konut GYO. This second phase represents a significant milestone in the regeneration of the area, focusing not only on renewing the existing building stock but also on creating a modern, sustainable, and people-oriented urban environment.

The renewed vision for Fikirtepe aims to establish a well-planned urban fabric where contemporary architecture, public spaces, green areas, and high-quality residential developments coexist to improve the overall quality of urban life. Today, the district stands as one of Turkey’s most prominent examples of comprehensive urban regeneration.

As Çamoğlu Architecture, we are proud to have contributed to this transformative process. In 2022, we designed two architectural projects for Emlak Konut, taking part in the realization of the second phase of the Fikirtepe Urban Transformation Program.

We believe that successful urban transformation is not simply about replacing old buildings with new ones. It is an opportunity to reshape neighborhoods, strengthen communities, and create resilient cities that will serve future generations. Projects of this scale require a careful balance between architectural quality, technical expertise, and long-term urban vision.
